Picked one up for $14. Cool little knife, takes a nice edge. My question is to owners of this knife, does the sheath dull the edge? I notice that after several draws, and resheathings I seem to get a little dullness about 1/4 the way down from the tip.

Thanks.

I've never had a problem with dulling as a result of the sheath. The blade has taken slices out of the sheath, in fact. Might be a bad heat treat.

Never has that I've noticed, but I carry my Wedge II a lot more than my Wedge. Love those blades, pure freaking cutters.

It's conceivable that some sand or mud or a pebble could be stuck in your sheath about 1/4 of the way down from the tip. If so it shouldn't be hard to clean out.

Good point. I used to do some running around in the mud (cross-country hiking and slipping and falling) and one time when I drew my knife I heard it scratch. I had scooped up dirt on a previous slide, and it formed an abrasive liner inside the sheath. :D
