Dave is considering pulling the plug on the Outdoor Edge forum. I for one would hate to loose such a fine gentleman. He produces a very fine product that doesn't get much press because it isn't a "Tactical" knife. I think a kind word or two from the members could persuade him to continue as a valued member of the online knife community.

I don't know why he would pull it. He can set a subscription to it so he gets an email notification any time someone posts. Otherwise, I don't know -- does it cost him anything to leave it?

One other reason he doesn't get much action on the forum is that he doesn't have many different models and not much new stuff comes on line, so his market is his market, without the excitement and "feeding frenzy" of the bigger companies and their constant turnover of ideas.

It's a shame in a way, but it's not good enough just to be good at what you do. I mean, I hope his sales are still OK!

He reports sales up significantly. By focusing on their niche, they are doing better than attempting to expand.
