recently i decided to put together a firekit based out of an altoids tin. the tin was quite small but i fit all my firestarting things in there. i wanted to add more things to it but the size restricted me.
digging through my stuff i found this wallet gift tin. i thought "man thats perfect!"

as you can see its much larger than an altoids tin

the contents of my firekit. 11 "firestraws" (petroleum jelly soaked cotton balls in straws. AWESOME for starting fire IMO) a ferro rod, and an ESEE AH1

the whole of my kit. firekit tin, becker remora, swiss army knife, paracord, and a couple feet of 150 pound test fishing line (good for lashing things) i have some extra room so if anyone has some ideas for what to add feel free to let me know
