I posted this on the ESEE forum also, but thought you guys might enjoy it as well. ESEE pack Kit, HI M-43, ESEE 4, and Dave Clements custom 4" Redhawk .44 magnum. The Clements Redhawk is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, he no longer does any double action work. Also pictured are some 320 grain .44 rounds. This gun was made for ammo like this. Thanks for looking and post your outdoor gear if you can. Take care and God bless.

Bit of Dirty Harry eh? The .44 Magnum is a BEAST! If you can handle that, you're fine with the M43 I'd say.:)

Nice pics. Do you often use the gun for hunting (overkill?), or just self defence?

7rip, I've never used this one for hunting. I have hunted with handguns for years and enjoy it a lot. I also use rifles. I just haven't hunted much in the past few years. This little beast was meant to be a woods walking critter stopper. I picked it up, as a 5.5" well used specimen at a gun show about 10 years ago or so. It sat until about 4 years ago, IIRC, when it went to visit Mr. Clements. It is as fine a heavy duty animal defense handgun as you will find. Mr. Clements does extremely fine work. It, and the M-43, will outlast me for sure. If I get a chance to hunt hogs, the redhawk will be my choice. I must also give props to ESEE. A better modern knife will not be found in thier price range. Thier customer service is also outstanding. It's like they've been watching the way Auntie does business:). Thanks for the kind words guys, take care.

Nice kit there JDK.

I had a real nice S&W M29. It really like the loads I ran with the 270-gr Gold Dot Sp bullets. Might want to give them a try. Bonded soft points, they work great on critters.

Awesome set up:)

I personally pack a 15"-17" khuk and a 6.5" .357 blackhawk...sometimes as an outdoor rig, sometimes to the office:D:thumbup:

Nice rig! Really like the revolver. I have a 3" S&W 629 (Lew Horton) and a 7.5" Redhawk. Like the 4" size very much, but usually settle for the 3" as a woods carry.

Thanks for sharing.
