This CG NO received the Michael Jackson treatment... :D

Well, a little off the nose, body thinned out a bit, a little off the butt, a slightly re-shaped spine.... and all the black removed...  :p

Nice one Bobby. Reminds me of the ZT NO. I love that freaking blade.
Yes, but with a 1/4" spine, then thinned out to the edge. A little off the butt for a better reverse grip (for me), 3 ridges on the spine (thumb ramp) for grip, and a liitle scalloped above the choil for comfort when choked up.

Very comfy now!:D

Here he is with 2 of his closest friends before the surgery...

Did you perform the surgery or was it done in the shop? If it was done in the shop did you send in a CGNO, or was it a custom order??

The color of that micarta is exceptional. I haven't seen scales with those hues before, but if I had that specimen, I would also do a little cosmetic work to it and bring out the full beauty of the knife.

Well done.

Matteo,
Well... I had help... I did the hard parts...like sanding and bead blasting... and had someone with the proper equipment and knowledge (i.e. a knifemaker ;) ) do the tricky parts like grinding.

No, Busse didn't do it for me, and it was the CG NO you see in the group of 3 above.

Komondor,
That is standard snakeskin micarta, with a little miniral oil on it to bring out the colour, then waxed with Rennaisance Wax. I am still thinking of putting custom micarta on it.

Glad you like it.:D So do I!:D
