Hi Hogs!

I wasn't able to score one of the new SFNOs but may look into a CG model in the near future. However, those of you that know me know my liking for the NO-E. Can any of you Hogs post a side by side picture of the most recent SFNO next to the NO-E. Much appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Welcome back, Tyrkon. Been wondering about you. Hope all is well, and that you and your coworkers aren't seeing the same kinda stress and frustration we are seeing here in Miami. It's starting to get ugly, man.

Anyway, I too would like to see a pic of the NOe and SFNOLE together. Anyone?

Here ya go.

NOe, SFNO, and 1 of 14 Custom NOe

Thanks for the welcome back guys. I've just been busy with stuff but all is definitely well. Except more INFI is needed. :D

GatMan - Ya it's getting pretty bad but just like it is everywhere. So far it's the new teachers that are getting the worst of it. I have a really good group of kids this year so I can't complain too much.

nick681 - thanks a bunch for the pic(s). I can't see them at work right now because the host is blocked but I look forward to seeing them when I get home.

The NO-E is going to be hard to beat for me personally and if I do opt for an SFNO then the it will replace the NO-E. Can't afford both at the moment but it's not like I NEED both either. :p

Thanks again.

Tyrkon, leave this sub forum like I was telling you about leaving LA. I spent 2K this month because of this forum. I got hit with the Busse bug. Stay safe brotha

It's good to see you around, teacher.

I think you'll like the looks of the SFNO LE. I know I do. :D

Hey OP. :)

You know, I love the saber grind. A lot! Is that the LE or CG? That's the one I am interested in.

dbltap45acp: Thanks for the warning. :p For the last several years I have been lucky enough to limit myself to only having 4 pieces of INFI at any one time. So, for instance, if I grab an SFNO then something else will go.

The pic looks like a flat-ground CG rather than the saber-ground LE. I'd think the LE would be what you wanted to grab.

Yes, folks, TL has a "will of INFI." Unlike the rest of us weak sisters, he can actually limit the size of his collection. It's pretty amazing ... I attribute it to his day-time profession. ;)

This might be the SFNO you want, but it's spoken for:

Here's a good comparison shot of the SFNO LE with a few other Busses, courtesy of Dobywon. It puts the Sabre Grind into perspective:

Good knives, all.

Pbubsy bopped back in a short time ago and now TL resurfaces. Good Stuff.

Here’s a few comparison pics, I always loved the NO-e as well, and would never part with them.

WOW guys. I'm home now and can see the pics you guys put up for me. Just awesome. The SFNO looks like a great deal. Now to mull over which piece of INFI I'd be willinf to relinquish to obtain one of these. Life is full of so many difficult choices. :D

Don't go that far.

Just borrow one first and see if you like it. You know, sometimes it just 'looks' good ... but isn't really an improvement on what you've already got.

Plus, you've got to consider the NMSFNO, too.

Well thanks for further compounding this already difficult delima OP. :p

But yeah, you are most definitely correct on that. Perhaps I'll just get busy with the old NO-E this weekend and all will be forgotten. ;)
