Hey everyone, so I live a couple of hours away from Golden, and I am going to go there soon. I have one question: are their prices MSRP or do they reduce them? Any other info about Golden is appreciated. Thanks!

MSRP with some store specials. Worth the trip just to get to see everything and you never know who you will run into.

You should go even if you don't end up buying anything. Just being able to see the place is amazing. Every Spyderco fan should visit at least once in their lifetime! Make sure you check out the Spyderco H1 Salt display... Very cool. You'll know what I mean when you get there.

We visit Colorado every year, but avoid Denver area like the plague.
Might make an exception this year.
Golden gate canyon road looks like a good way in and out.

Why do you avoid Denver? I'm not a fan of the area myself.

I went a few years ago. It's pretty cool. It's weird to go to a knife store and see every Spyderco knife in production, in stock. Lol. Well, that's how I remember it anyway.

Spent two hours in there, didn't get to meet or even see Sal or Eric. Guess they were busy that day.

Nothing against Denver specifically, just big cities in general. Same with Dallas, Houston, etc.
We're just rural folks and prefer to avoid crowded areas.
Seems though in the last couple years, due to a recent passed law, all of Colorado is more crowded.
We plan this year to spend less time there and more in Wyoming, Montana, Utah, ....

I agree. BTW, for a Colorado like area, check out south Dakota! I love it around the spearfish area.

Yeah, we've been to the black hills area a few times.
Unfortunately the Sturgis rally will be gearing up about that time so it'll be wall to wall bikes for a 200 mile radius.

Yeah that's true, and some of those groups are a bit.... rowdy.
