Outlet store?

I was reading the thread on the factory store visit and in it, they said that Spyderco has a factory outlet store? How much off retail? Or is it still cheaper to buy it here or some websites, say a Delica? Since I dont know much, having a repaired Delica cheaply might work than passing it up for something cheaper. Just wondering, as I am kinda cheap at the moment until I know how to discern what makes a knife a good knife and what makes a better knife better.

Spyderco has a great factory outlet store, the prices are ok, BUT they have a huge selection of the knives, plus the factory seconds, one offs and a few discontinued ones for sale. Also if you need your Delica repaired, have you considered sending it in to them? I don't think that they would do it while you wait. But defiantlyg consider the trip going down there.

I was at the one in Golden Colorado a few years back. Prices weren't anything to write home about. You can do better online or in the used market for sure. I was actually hoping they would have had more knives than they did.. maybe I was there on a low inventory day. But I'll be stopping by again at the end of July.

It's worth checking out, but only if you live fairly close. Prices are full MSRP for the most part. And bring any Spydercos you currently own with you - they'll sharpen them for free while you wait.

Most knife stores (outlet type) sell at MSRP. It's more economical to buy online at trusted vendors, or if you see something on the exchange here that catches your eye, that would be another way. I've had some quality transactions here, both as a seller and a buyer.

What is wrong with your Delica that needs repair? There is no "quick" way to have it repaired in a while you wait senario, unless it's something that you could do on your own.
