I have been playing around with some recurve blades lately and have decided to add this model to my lineup. These are a couple that I shipped recently, both have 10" X 2" forged W-2 blades.
The top one has a black canvas micarta handle and stainless steel fittings with a bead blasted finish on the handle. The finish on the blade is a scotchbrite satin finish.
The lower one has a desert ironwood handle with micarta and stainless steel for the fittings. The hamon has a lot more activity that I was unable to capture.

   Dang!!!

I like them both!!!

But if I were to order one, I'd want a thinner (spine to edge) blade and a handle like the micarta one, only with either Ironwood or Ringed Gidgee in the style of the wood handled one... Does that make any sense??? It just seems that the top handle is a little "fuller" than the bottom one, especially for such a beefy blade.

And you did a heck of a job catching that hamon! :D

Nice work Craig!

Craig,
You make some very nice Bowies and these are two more fine examples.

They are both  ,the second one really grabs ya'(me),though.
Nothing wrong with the first one,I just like the DI and the hamon.
I like it that you've added a recurve style blade to your line.
