Hello,
I just got a collection of over 200 knives. They seem to be Jewish slaughter knives. All the markers I found seem to indicate that they were manufactured pre WWII. The marks are Gerlach, Grunewald, Likker, Schulek, Nachfl, Szankovits, and dozens where the mark is partially filled out. Where Can I find a list of central European pre WWII makers marks so that I can try to figure out what the dozens of other marks represent? Is there a place I can find out a bit of history o these?

Sorry, not sure where to direct you to get the info you're looking for, but sure would like to see some pics if possible.

That sounds like a really unique collection. Would love to see some pix and any history you can turn up.
