We are all friends here and the JK Forum enthusiasts seem to enjoy knives altogether.
As some of you may know I wrote an article on JK Handmade knives a few months back and it is out in the March 09 issue. These are some pictures from the testing and photo sessions. The article really started months ago while in Peru. I took the, then named Hiker, on a trip to the Amazon jungle with some good friends and fellow adventurers. I always feel it is good to let the real pros use and test the tools we take on these adventures. In this case it was the local Peruvians that did most of the work woth the Tactical Hiker. The story went on stateside with the Tactical Field Knife, Scout, and Backup. Thank you Jake for the use of your own Scout for the article and John for the many great knives I've had the honor of using!
