OVB blade etching problems

Greetings, I replied in Cheryl's thread "So......" about the laser blade etchings on my OVB#2 being "fuzzy" or blurred. Can anything be done about this? Short of replacing? Otherwise, I love this knife... the grinds are excellent and the handle is gorgeous.

Sorry I missed that earlier! The etch ont he blade of the OVB Bowie is Electro-chem etched, not laser ethed. We get a good clean etch with this method, but admittedly not as good as you can with a laser. This will really come down to a judgement call on your part.....if you think it is "not up to snuff", feel free to send it in and we will take a look at it. We can refinish your blade and re-etch, but we only made the 500 knives, so we can't easily replace the blade.
