OVB Blade help

I got this blade on Ebay it was listed as a Jerry Fisk OVB Southwest bowie. I know it is not that. I have not been able to find anything leading me to believe that it the Reggie Barker OVB either. Any body have any info on a 5th OVB? This one has a 10" blade and is 15 inches overall. It is not a false edge on the top front of the blade, it is sharp as well. Thanks much Doug

Nah it's not the Southwest, the blade is 10" not 11.25" and the clip on the Southwest is much longer. I have the same blank waiting form my attention. I vaguely recall reading once, somewhere, that this was an earlier model. I think there were only 4 OVB models made, & I know of the 7" Bowie, the Southwest Bowie, and the Fisk Hunter, so maybe this was a short-run of the 4th? Or maybe it was a proto batch for the SW and then they redesigned it before release?

I wonder if the blade material is the same as in the specs on the SW Bowie??
 
The Reggie Barker knife was never produced.
You have a blade from the Jim Crowell OVB knife.
The material is the same as the Fisks.

Doug , I got this blade from smokey mnt about a year ago. They advertise it as a fisk southwest bowie. maybe I should of hung on to this one. Thanks For the info guys

w5rwu I am almost thinking that, but I am glad you did not do that. Thanks much it is a great blade and I cant wait to get the two other Fisk bowies and have the set of 4. I have the the National Living Treasure Hunter, and I would like to get the rest and do all of them the same. thanks again and 73. Doug kc2mvc
