ovb fisk rust?

Has anyone had any rust problems using this (OVB Fisk bowie) knife?

These are not stainless. Must be wiped down after use or after handling the blade - otherwise it will begin to rust. I use mineral oil. If some rust has formed wipe it down and you should be left with just some staining in those areas - not a problem.

Another thing to consider is if this knife came with a leather sheath it should not be stored in the sheath.

Leather sheaths contain tanning acids that will most certainly cause a carbon blade to rust.
