Overalls?

Anyone wear bib overalls? Man are these things great for working in. I wish they would come back in style.

I’m not one to care about style. But my kids and wife won’t be seen in public with me in my overalls. Lol.

Girls wear them nobody says anything. They even wear them with short legs. I’m envious. Lol.

Anyone rocking their bib overalls?

Yep, we farm and they're comfortable. Where I live nobody bats an eye at bibs but you'd get laughed off the town square in skinny jeans.

I guess that’s the problem. I’m not wearing the wrong pants I just live in the wrong place.

I wear Carhartt brand camo overall bibs when hunting, and Liberty brand overall bibs for fishing and yard work.

I'm too old to be concerned about "style"; as you say they are very comfortable to work in.

My only advice for people who have never purchased a pair is to be sure to try them on for proper fit. Add about 4 inches to your normal waist size because they are cut differently than regular jeans.

If you have a Tractor Supply Store near you, go try on a pair Liberty overalls to find your correct size.

I wear insulated Carhardt ones when its cold and I'm grinding knives outside.

Glad you ask. Yes, for over forty years...railroader. Brand of choice the majority of the time- Key Imperials. Not anymore. I bought two pairs a while back and when I tried to put my watch in the pocket as I was headed to work I found that the pocket was sewn shut. I got in touch with Key, they said they'd replace them, and declined my offer to send the defects back. Then I got a request from them to send photos of the defects- I complied, and then they informed me that the 'director of operations' said that the bibs were designed that way and they would not replace them. You sew the pockets closed?!! I sent them back with another pair I'd bought with all the tags still on 'em and a polite letter explaining the situation. Didn't hear anything for weeks and finally called. They told me that nothing changed. I told them to keep the bibs and I would make it my mission expose Key Industries as the weasels (no disrespect intended, actual weasels) they are. So whew!! Thanks for the chance to get the story out and go buy yourself some bibs...as long as they aren't keys.

I wear bibs most of the time. They are so comfortable and I love all the big pockets. An old friend told me once that when I got used to wearing bibs I wouldn’t want to wear anything else and he was right.
I wear Keys and have had good luck with them. They are readily available around here worn by many. I have been thinking about trying a pair of Liberties. Perhaps for the next pair I will order some.

Do you guys who wear them often have a pocket knife chain?

I don’t use any pocket knife chains. Pretty sure one would drive me crazy. Lol

It’s the only one I have, and it helps get the pocket knife out of a pocket. Especially those deep overall pockets. Normally I wear a knife on my belt, overalls don’t have belts.
