p.s. the "homeslice" I refer to is none other than our very own snow. I literally thought he might have died in his sleep on one camp out we went on. heh.

Always enjoy your videos  I have a buddy like that too. I always wake up before the sun and can't fall back asleep and he's snoring into mid morning like he's in his own bed!

Sweet vid, Iz. As usual. Looks like the Z Sere was gettin' some out there. Was that the Green River on your hip?

Can't wait for the Hardwoodsman gathering, gonna be awesome.

Great video brother.......

At least you didnt buy your firewood :D.....lol.

I cant wait to check out that Sere next weekend.

Great video

I'm looking forward to having at least a day to play around in the woods, an overnight trip would be even better :o

Great vid Iz! Thats a big ole Saw you packed in there!

Tony,
What skab said. It's a pack saw, he turned me on to them when I was looking for an alternative to bow saws and buck saws. I hate using those top heavy, wobbly things. So the pack saw is a good alternative for me. It's not really much longer than a large bow saw blade. I think it measure right around 26".

Lol. He just ain't gonna live that down is he?:D

Tony, its a Pac saw. And I'm waiting for Iz to tell me how he likes it.
I love it, brother. I just need to spend some time sharpening it and setting the teeth a little.

Was that the head of a Gransfors Bruks that you knocked loose?
Jgon,
I'm not sure what brand the axe is. It's so old that the markings are gone. It's a good old head though, weighs right around 3 1/2 lbs.

Thanks , guys for all the kind words. I appreciate it.

Nice vid! Was that Corrosion of Conformity and Headstones playing?? Very nice!!!

G'day Iz

.....Thanks for watching and let me know what you think.
I noticed within your video that your tarp leanto (or was it a survival blanket lean too?) had the common problem of wind comming from behind, bowing the "tarp" into the living area.

If you can access some bark and a stick, there is a simple solution to this problem

Hope this proves usefull.
