I can't imagine why they are going through the effort to pass off a Buck 110 as a 55. But you can clearly see that it is a 110 in size. Most of the pictures of the blade that would show the 110 stamp were photoshopped out. Almost nothing is accurate on this auction...title shows genuine ebony, which is a laugh in itself.
I just don't get why they are going through this much hassle. This is being shipped from China, so I guess that explains some of it.

Title to search for on the bay: Buck Knives 55 Mini 110 Wood Folding Sheath Hunter Genuine Ebony Pocket Knife

Oh well...I needed a good laugh today. :)

I now see they removed the one picture that showed the 110 stamp. I should of took a snapshot of it.

They still left this one where they did not photoshop out all of the stamp.

That thing does not look anything like a Buck product let alone a 110 or 55.

The closest 110 lookalikes I've seen were the Imperial frontier 4815 and the Japanese made Klein lockback.

I'm sure glad China can't even come close with their knockoffs.

The one Garret Wade was selling is pretty close. I’ve reported it several times.

They still can't get the blade exactly right because the spine peaks up right before the clip and swedge, but the frame is pretty close in shape.
It's a bit startling how little they would need to tweak to fool someone who's handled a 110 before.

In their description they even say it's based on a knife designed in 1963, but obviously don't name names.
I can't be they want $54 for that piece of crap with a sheath, and $24 without the sheath.
Theres so many things wrong with that.
Besides all the obvious, theres no way the sheath is worth $30.

I have never bought anything from them but I have always had the impression that they cater to hipsters and the like.

If I remember they used to call it a buck folding hunting knife. Without the capital B it’s a male dear. It was a very deceptive add.

I lost all respect for them because of that knife. How can I trust anything else they say about their other products?
