XM-18 knives are always showing up on the Exchange forum. 2-3 have popped up in the last week alone. You have to be quick to get them though. I'm not sure but I believe the following stores may carry the:
arizona custom knives
lapolicegear
new graham

Unless you get very lucky it might take a while. Rick makes several models, and now several sizes of XM folders, and his authorized distributors seem to sell out their allotment the day they receive them. I think he has recently started to ship out some of the blade grinding to another shop to allow him to make more knives, but it still appears his production levels are more "custom" than "production".

As was previously suggested - patrol the "For Sale" part of the forum regularly. Also - try to get on the waiting list with one of Ricks distributors.

You could also go to the next knife show he is planning on being at and try to get one through his lottery process.

Check out the Galyean Pro Series. They run abou the same price as a seb and are excellent knives. Extremely ergonomic Ti framelocks with superb F&F and IKBS pivots. The Lahar's blade is even hand ground! He's got a sub-forum here.

In the general price range of the Sebenza, SnG and XM-18:

Yuna Knives
Andrew Demko
Crusader Forge
Chris Reeve Umnumzaan
Kirby Lambert
Joe Caswell In-Line EDC
Brian Tighe
William Henry Knives

Dealers to check out:
arizonacustomknives.com
plazacutlery.com
knifeart.com
truenorthknives.com

Zero Tolerance has a Hinderer collaboration coming out this year. It should be much easier to find.

You definitely need an RJ Martin custom. I would suggest a Q-36 or an Overkill.

Here's an XM-18

Edited...

D'OH! Sorry... it sold quickly. That site (EDC Knives) has them once in a while.
Sorry for the misdirection

XM-18 is definitely worth having or handling, at least. Dealers seem to be getting them in 3" versions right now, so if you look around you should be able to find one. I'd say probably the 3.5" is my favorite, though. Those are up on the exchange fairly often. Rob Orlando posts them for sale in the forum every so often too. Also, check out Galyean Pro-series knives. I just ordered a small blue Lahar from TNK. I've heard it's second-to-none in terms of fit and finish, and it has a hand ground blade.
