Owners of BM Last Custom Balisongs

If you are lucky enough to own of (or more) of the last limited edition custom balisongs that Benchmade did, then you know that each one comes in a fitted presentation case. But, what do you keep the whole package in to prevent damage?

Well, I just ran into my friend Bill of Bill's Custom Case and we got to talking about some special case needs I have for a few recent special additions to my collection. I mentioned my desire for cases to store and protect my Benchmade Last Edition Customs in their presentation cases. He's going to make cases for me.

I kept that presentation box somewhere, probably at the bottom of the tactical fixed-blade drawer, but the Elishewitz tanto I just lay out in a felt bottomed display drawer. Its one of my favorite knives to swing.

I remember it took half a year to get the Elishewitz tanto #3 of 17 to me. I thought I didn't need any presentation box but Ms. Roberta DeAsis sticked to it and it was worth waited for. I used to, and I am still a user, but this bali is the exception. Now the blade has its creator's autograph on it, with memories of pleasant conversation with him, its a total collector knife.
I keep the presentation box with the bali in it, and seems perfect to me... at least I found this thread. Now I'm eager to know every detail of the case Gollnick has got, albeit not sure I'd purchase it.
