This one has been out for a while now. To those who own this bad boy, wadda ya think? I have a thing for spear points!

Just like Jake said above. It`s that and more. Fantastic knife. Roger

Knife is great. Wonderful balance and control. One advice - get CQB-1, not his small brother, cause only large one (CQB-1) comes with fully functional TEK-Lock carry system (which is THE BEST I've EVER TRIED). CQB-2 has some kind of simplified carry system. May be Camillus had already changed that, than I apologise...

I have to disagree with Dmitry; I like the CQB2 better. It comes with a mini-Tek-Lok that offers all the carry options that the full size one does with the exception of being adjustable for belt size and not having the extra holes drilled in the sheath to get some of the shallow carry angles. It still has the IWB carry strap. Search the reveiws section for CQB2.

I have one of each size, both plain blades, and I love them both! The large is easier to hold onto, but harder to conceal, and the smaller is vice versa. Both are top quality and take an edge you'll really like.I carry the CQB2 most of the time because it's so handy, but the CQB1 feels just great under a loose fitting shirt.Casmillus hit two home runs with these, IMHO.

I have to admit I did not like the CQBII...the handle was way too small for me. Just did not feel that good in the hand.....I traded mine.

exsanguinate: NO WAY!!! I'm going to Robert Dockrell's shop in August, and I'm bringing that bar with me to do a bit of forging!! I'm just curious about the CQB as I love, love, love spear points!!

Crayola,
I picked up a CQB not long after getting your kukri. It is a great little combat design. Right along the lines of our "Throat Cutter" discussion. I think for a carry knife aside from my military applications, I would have gotten the CQB2. Overall, for carry it's a bit more practical. Other than that, it is fast and lethal.(Just like I like my women. He He He)

Roger that recondoc! I bet it will cut slice open those "yummy" MREs quite nicely as well!

Thanks for the info folks, you've been great.

...Oh my God...I just received one of these knives TODAY (CQB-1), as a SUPRISE part of a trade with a fellow Forumite, and from what I've seen so far of this "battle knife", it has moved itself up to the top of being my FAVORITE fixed-blade knife!.
