Just an observation, I believe that oxygen bottle wrenches have become as ubiquitous as beer bottle openers on key-chain pocket tools. Is there a demand for this? I would be better served with wrench for LaRue mount nuts or a can opener. How many users have used their key chain tool on an oxygen bottle?

It isn't as commonly needed as some tools, but when it is, it might be critical. So these are available for medical personnel like EMTs. Personally, I have no use for a beer bottle opener and when a knife comes with one at the butt, I won't buy it.

Thank you. I've just been seeing them on many of the small key-chain tools and I was curious as to how important they are for the general consumer, not a first responder.

I had a long reply to this thread, but it went the way of the dodo before I got it posted. Long story short, if you need a nice little o2 wrench & can't afford a nice pocket tool, the "beer bottle" shaped cutout on a leatherman brewzer fits o2 bottles splendidly! For $7...

Thank you. I was referring to the CRKT K.E.R.T. and others:

I'm not a first responder, but I work in a hospital. Specifically, the admission office in a state psych hospital. Our patients are almost 100% psych. We only treat minor medical issues, so the use of o2 is rare, but when it's needed, it's needed in an emergency. Usually somebody's about to croak. Every ward has an emergency bottle on it & 99 out of a 100, there's a plastic o2 wrench tied to the bottle, but every once in a blue moon, you'll need that o2, & the wrench is mia. Hence why I didn't wanna spend a war pension on a wrench, but wanted the bare minimum on me.

Thank you for your example.
