I did a quick search to see if they were previous posts, I was just wondering if somebody had assessed interest for a Spyderco P’Kal Lightweight?

I’m thinking slightly neutralized P’Kal grip, compression lock, Emerson Wave-like screwed pin (or a non-removable wave like the Endura ), wire clip, reasonably priced stainless steel (CTS BD1N?), etc. Basically a PM3-P’Kal.

Considering the interest in the Emerson Elvia, along with it various shortcomings (no wave, inability to change the side of the clip, edge with no full-width choil-to prevent blade hang up, liner lock-for some), I think there would be enough of an interest for a revived, hopefully less expensive P’Kal revamp.

Anyone else? 🤞🏻

Well, at 3.7oz, the P'kal isn't exactly a heavyeight but if you can convince Sal to make one out of CF & Ti, I'd certainly be interested.

If you compare my SS/G10 Fox 479 (4.59 oz) vs my Ti/CF Fox 599TICS (2.82 oz), if a Ti/CF P'kal could be made to come in under 2 oz, it would be qute a feat!

Just no FRN, please!!! LOL! ;)
