Hello Everyone, I recently completed this P.A.L. Knife- Personal Attaché, Lightweight.

This is a lighweight hollow handle tactical knife designed for belt carry, and the knife itself comes in under 8 oz. It has a 440C stainless steel blade (5/32" thick), and the blade is 4 7/8" long. Blade is hollow ground to a beautiful satin finish.

The guard is stainless steel, and has accents milled in on the face, which also shave a little weight (The dust on the guard in the pics is on the surface only, not in the finish). The handle is aluminum, and as you can see is fully contoured for secure grip in hand. The flats just below the guard help with indexing/blade orientation.

The buttcap is aluminum, and features a stainless steel skull crusher pommel. The guard, handle, and buttcap are all coated in black GunKote. Buttcap features a compass.

Sheath is leather and kept minimal to reduce weight. It has a snap strap for knife retention, and utilizes an Ulticlip for carry. If you aren't familiar with Ulticlip, they are amazing. Unlike regular clips that rely only on spring tension, Ulticlip has a cam lock tab, and once clipped in is totally secure.

Very pleased with how this one came out, it will be added to the regular lineup. Thanks for looking!

Very cool and immaculate grinds and finish work. Top shelf leather as well!! Nice job as usual!!

drilling holes in the quillion would shave more weight than the grooves and add a functional element
the grooves need no defence, they look super cool and the whole package is awesome. It reminds me of a fairly classic commando type knife, but I like it better than most in that genre
what's the overall length?

Thank you very much, hollow grinding is actually quite enjoyable!:)

That turned out exceptionally well, the GunKote and black wrap looks great.

Thank you, Dudley! I agree, very pleased with the final outcome. And black obviously makes it more lethal.:D:D:cool:

Lorien Lorien Thank you for the feedback, I do appreciate it. I didn't want to put holes anywhere in the guard face for obvious reasons, and many combat/fighting knives and daggers go the same route. I have a lanyard hole in the skull crusher, but I believe it is pretty unlikely someone will put a lanyard on a knife of this type.

The blade is just under 5", and the handle is around 4.5", I can't remember if that includes the skull crusher or not, but it does include the buttcap. Thank you for the compliments, much appreciated!

Quick video here. Everyone has their own opinion and taste when it comes to edge geometry, and that's great. For "tactical" knives I tend to go a little thicker than just a pure slicer, in case they encounter any abusive use in their career. But the edge geometry is by no means thick.
