I was just wondering about the stats of knives made out of these steels:
01: 5160
02: 1095
03: 1085
04: 1055
05: CPM-M4
06: CPM-3V
07: O1
08: S7
09: INFI
What is your opinion on
Price, Edge holding ability, Corrosion resistance and Toughness (P/E/C/T)
of knife made out of such steel. Please rate on scale from 0 to 9. (lower price higher rating, holds edge longer higher rating, rusts slower higher rating, more impact resistant higher rating)
If you have experience with Damascus made out of 5160 and 1085 (or any other) make note it in your post and I will add it as such.
Please mention model and maker of the knife you are rating the steel of. Just so everybody knows you are not pulling the numbers out of thin air. Can be multiple knives, with different ratings, or the same ratings.
I don't have lot of experience with the above steels but the once I had I would rate like this:

02: 7/6/6/7 - TOPS: Tracker
06: 6/7/7/8 - Fehrman: Peace Maker
08: 3/8/7/9 - AngelSword: Dao
Please feel free to add any new steel. I will update the header of the thread with addition of the number.
