I picked up a appearingly well made single blade knife(sheepfoot/tobacco).Has P. Kamphaus,Solingen,Germany,No.4950 stamped on left side of the tang. measures 4 inches closed,6 &7/16 inches open.Brass liners .brass pivot pins and backspring pin.Not sure what the handle material is but am guessing micarta,or delrin. knife has good snap upon opening and closing. but I haven't been able to uncover anything about this maker or the knife itself. It is listed on the total apprsisal scale of the 5th/edition standard knife collectors guide, but that's about as much as i can find on it.Does anyone of you folks have any knoledge you wold share with me about this knife. It appears to be a very well made knife.Thank you,Dale Hemphill
