No, not Personal Survival Knife, it`s a Personal Steak Knife! ;) This one measures 7 3/4" overall, with a 3 3/4" blade, 1/16" thick, and 1" tall. It has a convex / scandi grind, and is razor sharp! If there is interest in these, I will make them in any black micarta handle material for $80 + $6 shipping, with no sheath. If you want a kydex blade cover so you can toss it in your pack, I will make one for $12 extra.

My Personal Steak Knife, in black linen micarta.

maaaan...you know i want me some JK steak knives! looks great John. like it. you'll have to post some "in-use" pics. :D

P.S. my JKTK in 1/16" has been known to cut a steak or two. And, i can attest that john's 1/16" offerings slice like a dream.

Lovin' the skinny 01 even though I haven't cut anything but paper with it.
I will be cutting my BD cake with it tomorrow though & pork chops sunday.

I reviewed the costs of the materials, and I can do these for $80 + $6 shipping in black micarta (linen or canvas) with no sheath. They would also make a fine tool for small game or cleaning fish.

Looks like a great steak knife at a great price!
I'm going to have to restrain myself for now though.(for now)
