OkSo I just got a psalt as a birthday gift and its design is as good as it appeared from pictures and descriptions. I love the blade shape, plain tip, big hole and thinner handle. I am a little concerned about the qc though. Out of the box I am able to push the blade forward (not to a great degree) with thumb pressure on the hump, btw love the thumb serrations too, and the pivot pin is somewhat rough around the edges. These are minor things but in comparing it to an endura I have had for most of a year and carrried pretty regularly they seemed strange. There was no blade movement on the Endura and the pivot pin seemed to be smooth and more flush. Am I being really picky here? It isn't that the knife isn't totally functional its just that I wonder how well it will hold up.
As an aside I am looking forward to the arrival of a Spydie kerambit, my birthday present to myself;-)>
