As a carrier and a fan of the Leatherman P2 and not so much the P4... I wish Leatherman would make a P2 version of the Arc...

Anyone else feel they should...?

Ya never know Leatherman might make that model if they see the Arc doing well in sales.

I love my two P2’s. They’re the reason I haven’t even thought about an ARC, LOL.

I’d love an ARC, but the P2 has never let me down (neither have my Waves, Rebars, Skeletool, or Bonds).

Leatherman upgrades their lines in increments* which makes them hard to upgrade after just one generation as the changes are not as significant as their advertising makes you think.

*The Wave is an exception, it was a huge leap!

Agreed...

With some modifications to the P2 I am able to use the Leatherman Bit kit as well as I parted out my P4 removed the scissors and replaced the blade... Pretty much the only thing on the ARC I would like to get on the P2 is the Diamond File...

Now that I have received my ARC, I can say i am impressed. I have the P2 and love it. But if they make a P2 version of the ARC they should call it the ARC EDC. It would be my go to tool. I dont really need the file or the saw for my every day carry. Also, I’de rather see the package opener/scraper from the P2 instead of the eyeglass screwdriver.
