EXTREMELY RARE DECORATED SEBENZA - READ ABOUT IT BELOW
NO LONGER AVAILABLE - NO LONGER AVAILABLE
This P23 Sebenza was purchased directly off of Chris Reeve in late 1992 at a show. He told me he had just begun experimenting with decorations using a new machine and that this was the first to be decorated. I bought it right off of him, then and there, right out of his hands, the 23rd small Sebenza made.
What reminded me of the above conversation was an email I received a few weeks ago from Chris Reeve Knives stating "Your P23 Sebenza is one of the first we decorated. It could possibly be the first, but we have no records. Yours, more than likely, was created by Chris himself."
The knife is mint, exactly as I got it from Chris in late '92.
The images are perfectly representative.
The round decorations are actually carved from the edge in, down into the titanium, then back up at the center (kinda like a sombrero), where the titanium rises back up to a point. It is my understanding that this exists on no other sebbie. Not too easy to image, lemme tell ya.
The knife has been in my safe since that day and didn't see the light of day until about six weeks ago.
With the knife the purchaser gets the email from CRK which includes the statement in quotations above, concerning it's rarity.
MONEY ORDER OR PAYPAL, ADD $25 FOR PAYPAL. PLUS $16.00 SHIPPING/INSURANCE.
I will not sell to anyone outside the US unless they wire the money to my account. Shipping additional if shipped outside US.
First to say "I'll take it" in this thread, followed with an email to me at rbetznerr@sbcglobal.net (and pays, of course), gets it.
