P60 drop in for Fireworm F1, which one?

So I have a Fireworm F1 coming in the mail and would like to upgrade what I hear is a poor drop in (Cree R2) and go with something better. Now, I am still a light newb and the plethora of P60 drop in choices is a little overwhelming. So far I am looking at the Thrunite Cree XP-G R5, 3 mode. It's 300 lumen, which is about where I want to be. 2.7-9v. I will be running either rechargable CR123's or 18650, haven't decided yet. This drop in is $35 at battery junction, where I will have some credit if they ever get back to me about returning a crap Lumapower LM21 and a dud battery charger. Is this one decent, anything else I should look at?

Any help appreciated.

For those not familiar with the Fireworm F1 Titanium

Multiple mode:
Nailbender on Candle Power Forums. He makes several in the power range you are looking for. I run one of his XP-G S2 drop-ins and it's very nice. He also has some with the newer XP-G2 that I have been thinking about getting as well. Nailbender has several threads with different LEDs and various combinations so take a look and ask him questions.

Single mode:
Gene Malkoff. I have had one of his in the past and they are of the highest quality. The price is much higher than the others but you never hear anything but great comments about them. His get recomended more than any I would guess but I must have multiple modes.

I'm not a rechargable guy but I'm sure you'll get some good info on that over there.

CPF has some other drop-in makers but these are the two i'm familiar with.

Hm, I'll check out Nailbender. I joined CPF but haven't posted because I don't like the feel of the forum. Maybe I'll give it a try though.
