I'm looking to replace my 20+ year old Sorel Caribou' inner liners. Has anyone here done this? The new liners aren't wool :( and any wool liners I can find online don't have that wooly ruff top which I like.
  1. Does anyone have experience with the new liners?
  2. Has snyone tried the LL Bean ones and would they fit?
  3. Has anyone replaced them with the "ruff"-less wool liners available online.
  4. Is there an option I've missed?

Thanks in advance.

MC, I replaced my old liners with ones from Wiggy's (lamilite) and they have worked well for me. I do not see the same ones now listed as mine had a rubber bottom, that you could use as tent boots. John

Maybe you could use snow-boarding boot inserts? I have some heat-moldable ones that are super warm, but not sure how they would work with your Sorels?

Thanks for the input guys, I found a website called Wolfsong. They make and sell clothing for dog sled mushers. I ordered a set of 100% wool felt liners. We'll see how they are.
