I have a knife I would like more information on. It has the name Pachmayr and the Chris Reeve logo on the blade followed by the number 76 and made in U.S.A. It appeares to be the same as the current Chris Reeve Project One but with a six sided screw-on handle cap. Does anyone else have this knife? Why was it sold under the Pachmayr name? Any ideas what years and how many were made? Thanks guys.

I also have seen one of these models. Probably done when CR was selling knives through Blackjack (If that's the name, you know about old memories). Perhaps if you called Pachmayr in So Cal, maybe someone might remember when they sold them. BTW, the one I saw had a persons name and USMC engraved on the blade. Maybe Pachmayr offered that service.

I have one. The only information I have on it is third hand, and suspect, like how many were produced. I was told a certain number had been produced, but mine is 5X that number. I am also curious about the real facts on this knife.
