NEW--UNUSUAL--A COLLECTOR'S ITEM

This very unusual scabbard is made of light colored wood wrapped round with bamboo threads. Devengari script on scabbard means Kami Kesar Pachthar.
I, personally, had not seen such a scabbard until my visit to the shop in Nepal and felt it worthy to be offered to you, my discriminating customers. I hope you agree with me.

All made by master Kami Bura.
Price $125.00 each.

e-mail sent on #3.

I have never seen any blade shaped anything like that one...
I kind of liked #1 better, but that shape one #3 just MADE me get it!

beautiful!
I wish I had the funds for all the great stuff coming through the pipelines.

SLIGHTLY!!! I almost wonder if there was a mistake made at the grinder on #3... Maybe it is just the photo, but it looks like the end point on that one is stright with no curve at all...

Absolutely beautifull. Nepal surprises me again and wakes me from my sleep. Well done, Nepal, well done, Kamis; you bring us to the delight of the world.

The blades morph from left to right, with 2 having a deeper belly than 1, and 3 deeper than 2. I just see the blade widths increasing, but everything else remaining pretty much the same. #3 does look pointer as well though as you say.

However, the weights are also the same, so I suspect that #3 is also a bit of a thinner blade. If the mistake was made at the grinder, and the #3 blade width was now reduced to the same as #1, it would weigh less than 12 oz.

That one is my favorite for sure.

WOW! #3 @ 17" would be my ideal zombie medicine! Aye Carumba! I mean, Ayo Gorkhali!

Did I say WOW??!!!

I was actually thinking that they just ground a LITTLE too much on the curve before the tip... Looks almost like a reverse Seax at that point...

Very cool.

Hey, I have the first Pachthar khuk from several months ago... a Karam wood & nickle silver beauty.

This is a good size for an everyday khuk. Not really a chopper, but a great draw knife. Reminds me of a Mini-Malla with that point.

Hmm, mine has a SoS but not a cool sheath like those today.

Congrats, who-got-em.

Another to compare it to...a *true* villager of the same model I think.

Sometimes being late has it's advantages... Other people get to make the hard decisions for you... All I had left was #1. The shape on #3 is awesome - it could be it's own type....

We are in khukri heaven. Thanks to Madam Yangdu and the wonderful kamis of Bir Ghorka. You newbies better appreciate what's going on right now, yahear? :D

These are gr8 lil knives, I got one a few months ago, as soon as I got home w/ it I attacked a garbage maple growing in the yard, chopped a 3" branch no problemo, which exposed a 1.75-2.0" branch beneath it, hmm I wondered if ... as I wound up w/ a back hand swing....what it'll do if.....I do my part ...
and hit it at the right angle... whack...it went thru the branch....stopping at the bark on the far side... and travelled down ward....between the branch & the bark....for a foot....timberrrrrrrrrrr
It is now residing at Mr. Kosters house, waiting for a " Magical handle " & blade treatment.......Zombies be afraid....very afraid

Excellent choice to bring this one to market Yangdu! I'm glad to see that others agree with me too, since they're all sold already. :)

The scabbards are really interesting. Makes a nice change from the regular black leather.
