Took a bit of a hike on the PCT in the Gobbler's Knob area:
The trial climbs through some nice timbered terrain:
Coming around a corner of a ridge, the first views present themselves.
On a clear day you can see Mt Hood, but the clouds only let you see the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge:
Continuing the climb brings other ridge lines intersecting the main ridge:
Crossing the main ridge, the view to the west in the Lookout Mt. area:

Then its time to hit the Walking Man Brewery, where a gal from our SAR Team works - and brings me a Homo Erectus:
Life is good (except I almost DIED!!)...!
