Wow is that beautiful!
where is that?
would love to visit that place.

thanks for posting

Nice. I keep meaning to take the family on a drive over to the west side. Central WA is not as interesting!

If that's Washington state it is a beautiful state. I live on the East side a bit drier over here but within 30 minutes I'm up in the mountains skiing.

Included a picture of how much drier it is only an hour and half from those great scenic pictures (Thats me attempting to lift prints from a crime scene in a Sh#$ load of dust and sand, not very successful.)

Thanks for the comments. All but the Black Tails were taken in NW California just below the state line. Most taken at or around Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park.
For me this area is almost as addictive as Busse.

Saville01.....That is dry.

Yeah the western half of Washington is much nicer. I get out to the eastern part of the state rarely. It's fun to visit for a change of pace but it's nice to come home to the greenery. I made a trip out to John Day (Oregon) back in March and boy is it different on that side of the mountains. We went through the wind farms which was neat to see but I liked it better as we headed south and got back into the mountainous areas where there were trees again.

This looks more like central WA too. Sagebrush and scrub hills looks like Grant county, or maybe Tri Cities! Spokane is much greener than that!

Jed Smith Park is one of the great places! Never fully used, overlooked, and quiet. One of my favorites.
