I would say no. The spine is rounded like a Sebenza. You might be able to use the sharp edge of the forward swedge, but the leverage and control would suffer. The coarse jimping is too close to the thick micarta to use that area.
I think it’s possibly the worst option for striking a steel out there, but it is a gorgeous, useful, and beefy knife.
