Any news on weather the pacific salt is going to be getting the same handle upgrade as its smaller sibling the salt 2?

Sir, I know and I'm waiting for it :D BTW will it have the improved backlock like the new Native ?

Hi Daybd,

That's the current plan, but with black handles and yellow handles.

Thanks for replying Sal, actually what the guy below me said is even better and i'm glad you said that's the plan. An endura in LC200N would be an absolutely massive home run. Talk about a perfect low maintenance working blade. I'd buy 4 of them at least, and i know tons of other guys that would too.

Spyderco has always evolved-- I get it and I've been on board since the early years of volcano gripped ATS-55 Delicas and integral molded pocket clips. Many great innovations making the greatest folding knife co. even greater.

But Pac Salt is perfect as is...wet it and forget it. Nothing like fish goo or sweat hangs out on the insides of the FRN slabs because they're solid and smooth.

I'm a big fan of this idea. Since the Salt got an upgrade, the Pac Salt kinda feels like "last year's model". Be nice if clips and such could interchange with Endura 4 stuff.

Picked up an M4 Native last week, the solid CLACK is the most satisfying I've ever heard, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like backlocks.
