Can anyone give me Pro's and con's on the Pacific. Thinking about picking one up for General use Hunting and Fishing..
I did move down the line a bit and found some very good comments about the kinfe. Sounds like a great piece.

The order is in. Should have next week. Will do on the pic's

hi everybody. I just picked upa Pacific at the Shot Show to complement my Green Beret. Same brick-sh*thouse quality as all Chris' offerings. Feels good in the hand- balances right, good fit n finish. Only downside, if any, is that this is a LARGE blade, but the balance is so damn good that I can envision being able to use it for ordinary "camp tasks" if needed. Of course, at heart it's a fighter- I don't want to think about how good this knife would be in combat. Blade is thick, like all Reeves- should hold up great under torsional stress.
I'd say GO FOR IT. IMO this knife is a winner- you can't lose.

Well got the knife. It is just top quality all the way. Will take some photos and post shot soon. Great Knife ....

Contact Chris Reeve Knives about the plaque that they are selling to display the Green Beret, the Pacific or the Yarborough, if you want to display it rather than use it. Looks just like the Special Forces Crest. if you were at the SHOT Show, they had one in their booth. The Pacific is a great knife. I have a Green Beret and my son let's me display his Yarborough here at my house. Anything that Chris Reeve makes is a superb piece. His quality is off the chart by my definition!

Great tip, that sounds real cool for some of my safe queens, THANKS!

Just picked on up at a gun show in Phoenix. It was more than I wanted to pay for a knife, but when I handled it and saw the craftsmanship and that it was in S30V, I just had to have it!! It is so doggone nice, I may not want to use it!
