I live just outside Atlanta. Today it was pouring buckets. I was heading out to Best Buy today and saw two wrecks on the way. We could barely see in front of us. Then we had to wait for the rain to settle down before running in... and I still got soaked. It seems to have settled down a bit but, yeah, the remnants of Allison should give us a good drenching this weekend. Oh well, who cares? It's Bladeshow time!

I drove through Atlanta three summers ago and as I was travelling through the middle of the city a strong rain began. I saw a lightning strike that caught something big on fire. Luckily, I made it out of the city limits before the heaviest rains hit. Parts of Atlanta flooded, according to the local radio station. That was the heaviest rain I have ever witnessed.
