I found a package from Leroy on the front porch, made my day:)
There's 4 110s,a 112, and 2 102s

The top 110 is 1 that just arrived, 3rd Version, variation 3-small nail nick>>bottom 110 has the large nail nick...spoke w/ Joe, but he hasn't gotten into differentiating nick sizes...yet. Bottom 110 I got from Larry O years ago

The bottom 110 is a new 1, a 3rd Version, variation 7..maybe, because these are considerably larger than "standard" inlay rivets. Top 110 is a 3rd Version, variation 6. Thses 2 versions of the 3rd have the single butt rivet visible on both sides of frame.

The other 110s were 2 dots, and a 1980 112, to round out all 3 of my 112s from 1980. The 102s are both barrel-nuts, 1961(bottom) & a 1962(top).

Middle knife is new,top is 3 dot 1980-no nail nick, middle is 3 dot 1980-with nail nick, and bottom is 1980 3 dot w/ finger groove frame.

Nice collection. I'd like to pick up an early 102 and 105 in 440C steel. The condition of your 102s looks good.

Hi Scott,

They all look fantastic. What were the condition of the knives when you sent them to LR, what did he charge for his services, and how long did it take? I may need to ship him a boat load for a face lift;) Leroy is truly a master craftsman!

These knives were in poor to fair condition, but I know what miracles Leroy can work. The 110s & 112 could have gone back to Buck for a "clean & sharpen", but the barrel nuts had to go to Leroy. Don't expect a quick turn around, Leroy is swamped. Incoming boxes get numbered, and that's how they ship out. These took about 3 1/2 months, but I had told Leroy I was in no hurry. There were 53 boxes ahead of me in November. Prices range from $10 to ?????, just depends on what needs done. I consider Leroy a friend, and like to send him business, besides, I've never had to send 1 back to him:thumbup:
