Package tracking...

Is anyone else this crazy?

If I know I have a package in the mail on its way to me, I will literally check the tracking about 20 times a day. Yeah... the likelihood of it ACTUALLY changing within one day is pretty slim, but something needs to feed my addiction to check.

But then, just a few minutes ago, a package I had been following seemed to be stalled in Montreal since last thursday... and now I check. OUT FOR DELIVERY!?. I'm pretty sure that this business of "tracking" will give me high blood pressure in the future...

This is probably a testament to my huge lack of patience... either that or I just dream of the postman/lady as santa claus :D

I have found that tracking with USPS is nearly useless until it is delivered. UPS and FedEx have decent tracking though. 20 times a day is a bit much :)

I think everyone is a little crazy about this to some extent.. I ordered a package a week and a half ago and started checking as soon as I received the tracking number.. :-) Imagine my surprise when I got a notice for a package yesterday, I check the tracking and sure enough, it is at the post office lol.. Yay!! I have a package. Now to start work on my new folder kits. I plan on replacing the blades with my own and of course doing my own scales. This will be my first attempt at folders (slippy, liner lock and back lock) so I thought I would do up a kit first to reduce my difficulties. But yes, I check the tracking as often as I can hehe.

I tend to check once every couple of days, unless the package is late (i.e. days beyond the estimated delivery date).

But then, my wife and others have implied that I have the patience of a saint... maybe... but I also have high blood pressure (checked by medication), so hypertension is part of my DNA. So rather than worry myself into an early grave, I pick the things I want to obsess about.

I will check 3-4 times a day, but I also pace back and forth in front of the washer and dryer any time that I have the misfortune of using a laundry mat. My wife just reads her magazine and shakes her head at me.
