Hi All, I'm REALLY liking the Packrat. I was taking a closer look at this AWESOME Design and noticed the liner lock is PURE GENIUS!!!
I'm not quite as up to date with the Kershaw Designs like the rest of the folks here, but is it just me or is this lock a bit more sturdy than some of the other locks???
As I engaged the lock, I noticed that when the liner slides over, it's not only resting against the blade, but also directly underneath the "flipper" feature of the blade ...almost making it a fail safe feature. I'd have to say this is a VERY STRONG LOCK AND GREAT FEATURE!!! I'd also have to say it would be incredibly difficult for this lock to fail under pressure. Anybody else notice this??? I have other Kershaw designs, but they don't share this same feature.
Just thought I'd share this little discovery. Thanks for listening to the newbie ...Take Good Care All and Be Safe Always.
God Bless
