pro tip-- shipment of thamar blades should be arriving soon, more of us can have samshers!-- and yeah I just had too because I was online for once right after the post, I laughed when I saw how quick I posted for them -- just 2 minutes after auntie!-- and yeah I still think the thamar samsher was a prize, but I am always going to be looking for purna's and thamar's work, because like many others here I love the curved spine they both pull off with style and grace :D
 
wow they are both amazing, lucky you got in there Gehazi, that dui Chirra is amazing, and that little curve on the spine makes it all that more unique. :thumbup:

I agree, these two guys make very nice looking blades.

Since all we have left to talk about is talk itself.

Am I correct in probably assuming that the pictures are reversed. The Tiger knife looks like a Dui Chira to me and the Dui Chira looks like a tiger knife although I don't know what a Tiger knife looks like so I got nothing to back that up with.

Just exercising my thinking capabilities which is why I'm getting a headache already. All normal, think= headache.


Maybe kamidog can come along and confuse me more.
 
certain you are right bawanna, that one with funny curve in spine is def the tiger knife, and moon you could always help yourself when you lose a knife by claiming it when I die? thats how I handled losing that samsher :D, I will tell my family the man called moon has dibs if I die suddenly :D

Well now wait just one tootin minute here dude. I done got the notification from the family that I'm the recognized recipient of all sharp pointy things iffen gehazi crosses the river beforest I do.
As I recollect this was about the time we rehandled dad's little AG Russell. Jim Dandy little traditional folder it is too.

Now this ain't to say I wouldn't share some, I'm not greedy or nuttin like that, well maybe a little when it comes to sharp pointy things or things that go bang.

just sayin ya know.
 
Don't yall make me call Dr Bookie, I'm sure he's got some potion or another to take care of this stuff.

Maybe some of that powdered stuff in the coconut looking shells like he done to kamidog and we all know he ain't been right ever since.

Can't seem to keep shoes on his feet for love nor money, pushed him right back to missing link status I think, like when monkey's started walking up right and such.

Hey... I almost forgot, I have a IBBB on the way from auntie. It will be my first and I am not sure if it's wood or horn. I would love have some Bawanna original checkering. Something cool like 1911 double diamonds or skip line... You decide, you are the master at that art form. How much do u charge?
 
Bawanna is one funny guy, I'll give you that, he has a way with words! Really, HI gathered such a fine community here, yet are another reason I stay around here.
 
The Baghe looks like it is also a dui chirra?

Can't really see the chirra in the dui chirra though.
