This is one of those things we call a win/win or even a win/win/win You saved Ndogs life AGAIN, probably saved mine too, And you got a screaming deal. I almost tear up a bit thinking how wonderful this day is.

These really are incredible little fighters. FYI, the white metal blues up very nicely;)
 
These knives are really unique. With the sharpened swedge, I have had to modify a couple of katas or risk gouging big hunks of my own flesh off me. I added a new backhand movement that brings the blade up through a backhand slice making use of the swedge and leaves it in the perfect form for a downward followup strike with the belly. truely a unique fighting blade that opens up a whole new set of movements not possible with a flat spined knife. During ji-geiko I almost took off hubby's ear forgetting the swedge was sharp. Maybe sticking to keiko with this one.

I was focused a lot this month on preparing for my Sandan testing but I just have to say I love having this blade in my hand. Any time I wasn't practicing with my bokken for the test I seemed to pick it up.
 
No I dont have one yet! Man you know im gonna crack soon tho if she keeps putting them Juralis and sugas and bamboo cutters up like that! Good things come to those who wait....Who said that anyway?
