Paddling with lots of wind.

Today I did a 10 km ( I have a GPS now) trip with alot of wind in Nieuwkoop, Holland.

Looks like a fun little paddle Erik. The Prism is a wonderful boat.

What's up with the muskrat in the cage? And, are those fields burnt on purpose by farmers?

The muskrats are trapped because they dig up our dykes and other watermanagementstructures. The reeds are harested for roofing and other purposes and after that the remainder is burned to get rid of the plants that do not belong in the reeds. Like young trees and grasses and so on.
 
I love seeing paddling pictures. Get me excited for summer and canoeing my self..... Just need that ice to disappear! Thanks for sharing
 
Neat. I've never strayed much outside Amsterdam, which is a shame on me really given your waterways. I've seen a few of your integrals but I'm lost as to what knife that is - Taurus variant with front lanyard hole?
