Bawanna's house stat!

Bawanna got bushwhacked on the wood pile today. Just spent plumb too long, working too hard. I already got me some severe soreness located generally between the top of my head and the bottom of my feet.

I'm fairly certain tomorrow's gonna be even worse. be lucky to move.

Did get me a pile of wood cut, spent most of the day on the chainsaw working real big stuff, considerable splitting too.

Sadly no khukri action but there's plenty left for another day if I can ever move my arms again.

I was a hoping Dr. Bookie could break out my voodoo likeness and maybe dip it, preferably feet first in some Ben Gay or some such magical concoction. Maybe pull out any pins, needles, or burning cigarette butts to ease my considerable pain.

Thanks in advance.

I know this is gonna be more than a couple chickens and a guinea foul but worth it.

I am sure he will pull out the ole' voodoo doll for you. Not sure if it can cure anything, but I have heard that they will definitely put a damper on your day if someone knows what they are doing. My ex wife was a witch... I live minutes outside the famous Salem, Massachusetts. There are a bunch of witches around here.

Friggin wierdos if you ask me. I wish I knew she was a kook before I married her. It took about three years for me to realize what a NUT she really was. It took another nine years before I finally divorced the crazy woman, but I swear she put a curse on me. I had terrible luck my first year or so after my divorce. Things have gotten better.. I have been married to my best friend for 8 years now. The 2nd time is definitely a charm. It doesn't hurt that I find her extremely attractive, she loves to go shooting, and she encourages my kukri addiction. Well... I guess she doesn't encourage it... More like puts up with it.

I hope you feel better brotha, take a soak in a hot bath. Have a beer and chill. Sounds like you put in a good days work. I love hard work, it steadies my erratic brain. Take it easy tomorrow Bawanna

Oh... I just got my first HI Bowie in the mail yesterday. I got a IBBB or micro Bowie. It has a pitchfork type mark, I am not sure who he is. Maybe Vim? The balance is crazy good. It balances at the same point as my +$300 bark river bravo 1. It actually reminds me a lot of it due to the amazing feel and balance. Mine seems a little light which I like. It's got a 4in blade with 3.5 being sharp and the other .5 being the cho area. The handle is 4 inches, not sure about the weight but it feels light. I will post pics. How bout a trade for some checkering? I have a antler handles Manakamana Haida you can see here...

The pitchfork would be Bhakta's helper Min. Last I heard he's no longer around.

I'm more than happy to checker it for ya, that's a durn nice knife to offer up though, maybe too much.

As I recall Kaanchi had a hand it working on that one which makes it special too.

Man you got some of the coolest hats!
Yeah hes always slicked out. Must have a dress code in the Witch Doctors union when you on the clock? Hope your feeling better this morning Bawanna. How the heck you cut wood sitting down? Is it anything like opening the garage door:D You put them logs on your lap? Im trying to picture this? I know... you use it one handed:eek: Dang!...Road Warrior im gonna call you or Popeye. Werent you in that movie they made here about that chainsaw massacre? I tell you your one tough mofo:thumbup:

I shoulda took some pics but I was by myself. I got an old brute power chair to move around. Just gotta figure an angle to get at the logs. Big stuff, hard to even roll the rounds about. It's all nice and dry though so pretty much cut and burn.

Got lucky finding it.

I used to cut a lot of wood in my walking days, I use to chuckle helping others cut and they always say they wasn't too good at splitting but pretty good on a saw. I never ever loan out my saw, but I'd let em make a few cuts and they quickly realized it ain't the easy end of wood cutting.

I hurt everywhere today, I need to do that more often and try to get back into my lean mean fightin weight. At least the look, maybe not the attitude.

Its all hard work! My kids offered to help me split wood one day and talk about blundering city boys. They figured they could outchop ol grandpa. First thing they did wrong was put the log on the sand on end. I knew right there they didnt know what the heck they were doing. After about thirty minutes of watching them show off with nothing split I put the logs up on my stump and began splitting them. I was done in about 3 minutes:D Chainsawing is not easy work either. Im afraid to let them use the chainsaw. I never loan my saw out either. No way! Not even to my best friend. He ask me if he can borrow it and I reply with "Can I borrow your motorcycle?" Nuff said. Ill go cut it myself usually and be done with it.

[/IMG] Bawanna, I'd sure like to help you out, but you see, I'm on vacation and am working on my tan. Be back on the job soon. Wish you were here.

I don't see no shoes, you see any shoes. If you don't see em, they ain't there.

I love that picture. The confused, where the heck am I look is just priceless.

I'm a borderline expert on confused and where the heck am I so I guess I'm sensitive.

Sunday morning on the wood pile.

Derelicts Logging Company. Live action.

Gonna need the doctor again.

Granddaughter just got here so BREAK TIME!!!!!!!

DLC! Ha! Man you outchop most of the upright people I know! Its 80 degrees here today.

Probably 60 or so here and NOT raining today. cept when I'm chopping, then its about 125 and I get soaked. Can't put my finger on that.

Dern, Bawanna! Looks like ol' Ginnral Patton and his 3rd Armored Division plowing through the Ardennes!! You need an Rx dispensed? You're having a regular heat wave up there. Sure wish I was barefoot, but the little dogs been soiling the snow out back and the wifey don't like me trackin' in. Speakin' of trackin' in, does your wife let you drive that APC inna house after you been out to the wood pile?

I don't never bring the APC in the house. It's a beast. It'll take out walls if you ain't careful.

I just mucked the horsey stalls that my daughter and wife have neglected for who knows how long, 6 big wheelbarrows of horsey surprise. I figure 100 bucks a wheelbarrow full seems fair since that was their area of responsibility.

It just dawned on me as I was scooping that the horses have a much larger monthly allowance than I do.

From the size of that pile of wood I think Bawannas been into them horse powders! You better stay out of the stables man! That stuff is supposed to be for the horses! Wait till the missus finds out.

Holy crap Joe! You are a beast! Your spirit shines through. You are truly a independent, capable man. Heck, you make it look easy. You should post those pictures on a AARP or retiree website with a caption reading

"Quit your complaining and get it done!"

You rock!!!

Oh I probably complain and whine some but I try not to power whine.

Just got it to do and gotta get r dun like ya say. I should do it 3 or 4 time a week, might get me back to my fightin weight I don't have a heart attack first.
