Anybody seen Joe Flowers around? I made him a Terrassaur, and haven't heard from him. He could be out and about. He tends to stay in motion till he can't drink anymore and passes out.

You can just send it to me and I'll make sure he gets it. ;) :D

We could make a game out of this. Like where's waldo except with Joe. Look in this pic he is sleeping in a tree. Look here he is in a river. Look over there, he is parachuting in!

He does remind me of Waldo too. We need to get him a wierd hat.

Sent him an email and a message on Facebook.

Me too. He hasn't been on BF for about 9 days, but he was on fb earlier this week. I haven't talked to him since we were discussing the deer skull I had in my truck at Blade.

He does remind me of Waldo too. We need to get him a wierd hat.

He does me to now that I think about it. We really should!

paging Joe...

This is eerie about 10 minutes ago I got my Condor bushcraft parang in the mail, thanks Joe.

So is he back from the Amazon?

He's on the lastest cover of Self Reliance.

Yeah, apparently Erin likes putting us woods lunatics on the cover...my ugly hands unexpectedly ended up on the cover of the previous issue. At least Joe is more photogenic than I am lol

LOL, i must be getting a little slow, read the Fire Steel article, never got there, should have picked up on the para-cord bracelet and the watch!

Nice job on that too,

I gotta get a bushcraft magazine subscription of some sort.

I like SRI and the Backwoodsman.

The book Bushcraft by Mors Kochanski is a must have, if you ask me. It focuses on northern boreal forests but most applies to many places. Sort of a bushcrafting bible. Lots of great info.

Ron Hood's wife Karen still produces Hood's Woods too I think.

Hope that helps,

SRI is A good one. I have every issue and always learn a lot from each one.

I agree, even if I may be a little biased at this point lol, SRI has some awesome material in it, by some great minds, and wonderful writers. I have liked it from the beginning, and I was very honored when they asked me to produce some material for them.

Lol, not a lot to give me away in that one. The bowdrill article actually had a shot of my profile in it I believe. I'm sure glad they didn't put that on the cover! Lol, I had my usual (as Mike Fuller of TOPS puts it) "just come in from a thunder storm" fashion sense going on :D

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Joe knows the good stuff comes with a screw cap - What kind of El Salvadoran booze is that?

Old Forester? I dunno. Whatever was in my parents liqour cabinet :D

Joe will drink anything. It almost turns your stomach to watch him have libations.
