Paging Joe Houser (or anyone with any thoughts) Serrated 103 Skinner Pro line???

Those serrations make it inadequate for skinning,
send it to me so I can put it beside it's long lost brother.
CB 103 ....ya got my addy still?

   LOL

Looks like I will have to take it to the other part of BF for a passaround :D

Let me know when it's my turn.I will send you my address.:D
The serrations will help when cutting throught the sternum.
That is my thought.

Well its obvious that the knife is a reject. Send it right in and I will have the serrations removed!  :D
Or...if your not buying that explanation...We made either 100 or 200, the computer is not completely clear on that. Either way, thats not a lot. They were made for Cabela's in 1997-8. I see that we sold some to SMKW in 2003 and would guess that they were the ones that Cabela's ended up not buying back in 1998 but that we had already made. The ones sold to SMKW could not have the Pro-Line logo on the blade so that explains that.
Its interesting that the label still says PL but I am sure that is because when they went to print lables for the knife box, the description is tied to the part number. Its a 103px and that gives the description with PL in it.
It makes sense but it just dont make sense.

Remember to send it to my attention...:)

Hi guys,
Also, why would anyone want serrations on a skinning knife?
Maybe someone out there could help? Please :D
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hi Jim,

The 103 with serrations is a limited edition made for JIMBO"S new years eve party......you can skin a deer with the curved section of the blade and cut your New Years venison salami stick with the serrated part :D

I find that interesting... :) There was an eBay auction some months back where the seller mentioned a similar instance...I think it was a Bass Pro order that BP backed out of, and Buck sold them off...

The ones sold to SMKW could not have the Pro-Line logo on the blade so that explains that.

Only Cabela's has the lifetime sharpening agreement???
