Paid for Basic, not showing and still seeing ads

My Basic membership expired last week (which I discovered because I started seeing ads), so I renewed same day (6/9/2023). I renewed via Paypal, using the same email address that is associated with my BF account. I was charged $10.00, plus $8.00 shipping (which makes no sense, but whatever). My Paypal transaction number is 35N828434H785060B.

Despite paying an 80% premium above and beyond the stated Basic member price, I am still not seeing a Basic Member badge on my account, but I am still seeing ads. Can someone please fix this?

I have the same problem with gold membership. Agree about the "fee". WTH? Renewed last week and still not working. Spark tagged in my thread but no luck yet.
