EDIT: FIXED
I don't see a way to retitle, but if you are reading this GO BACK. go no further. This way lies, well, nothing much. Probably not madness, more like "why did I just read that?" going through your head for the next few minutes. Minutes you will never get back. Minutes you could have used reading the stickies for the tenth time (or the first, in which case, A: Shame on you! and B: Go read them already!).

Still here?

I give up.

Original post:

I just paid for another year of basic membership and either I'm missing something or it isn't letting me change the group setting.
Edit: adding PayPal info as suggested:

Unique transaction ID:
4E9411827N6300535

Item #:
f5401e1c37764c03911497f4903a0999

End edit

I used paypal. I did notice on the membership page that it said something about gift memberships having to use paypal instead of the automated system, so perhaps I just have to wait for someone to toggle a setting somewhere - only if I don't ask now I'll forget.
So - how do I update my profile? I've clicked on the link in the faq, I've tried everything I see in settings and my profile, and I just get a message saying "There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join."

I'm not active a poster here, but I've been given fantastic advice on projects and have learned a ton by reading what is already posted. A basic membership is a really small expense in return.
Thanks.

If you didn't use the automated paypal system Spark will have to manually enter you into the system.
Keep your thread bumped and hopefully he will see it and take care of you as soon as he can.

Thank you. I used PayPal by clicking on the link on the paid memberships page so I think I used the automated system, and I did get a PayPal confirmation email.

regardless, I'll follow your advice since it didn't work yet.
Thanks

Edit the PayPal confirmation # into your first post in this thread so Spark can find the transaction better.
